Joining The Cove Eleuthera from South Africa, Chef Louise English brings her expertise to the role as Head Pastry Chef. With nearly two decades of culinary experience, Chef Louise started her career at Olivello Restaurant at Marianne Wine Farm in Stellenbosch, South Africa. At award-winning South African restaurants, such as Terroir, Asara Wine Estate & Hotel and Tokara, her passion for pastry was ignited. Holding Head Pastry Chef positions at numerous esteemed properties such as Singita Grumeti in Tanzania, Vietnam’s Mia Resort and One&Only Gorillas Nest in Rwanda, she mastered her craft while mentoring her pastry team members. Outside of work, Lousie has a passion for food photography and staying current on the latest food trends on social media. She joins the culinary ranks at The Cove alongside her husband, Executive Chef Bryan English.
