Whether you’re sipping a cocktail under palm trees, sharing a beachfront dinner with loved ones or enjoying the quiet during a morning paddle, it’s a time to embrace tranquility and togetherness without all the noise.
The Cove’s 2025 holiday calendar is a refreshing island twist on traditional events:
- Thanksgiving Day: A Caribbean-inspired barbecue will feature lobster tails, ribs and blackened mahi skewers. Enjoy live entertainment and a beachside marshmallow roast under the stars to end the day.
- Tree Lighting: Kick off the holidays on December 12 with a tropical tree lighting ceremony, complete with a local choir.
- Hanukkah: From December 14-22, partake in the Festival of Lights in the Bahamas. Whether you prefer a more intimate celebration with your travel companions or would rather join together as a community with other guests, The Cove is the perfect gathering place for your Hanukkah festivities.
- Christmas Eve and Christmas Day: The holiday spirit is alive and well with family-friendly movie nights, Christmas brunch, a sunset seafood buffet and, of course, a visit from Tropical Santa.
- Boxing Day: Keep the celebrations rolling with beach games, a conch salad demo and local grill specials on December 26.
- New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day: Count down to 2026 with a Junkanoo parade, Bahamian food stations and the annual Pineapple Drop at midnight. On New Year’s Day, let the serenity of the island help you set your intentions for the year and enjoy low-key activities on the water.
