Relais & Châteaux Welcomes Eleven New Members, Including The Cove Eleuthera

We are proud to announce that The Cove Eleuthera is officially the newest member of the Relais & Chateaux family, making us the only member in the Bahamas. Located in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, North America and the Caribbean, 11 properties were just named to the Relais & Châteaux, illustrating the association’s extensive presence across the globe.

“Our association is firmly committed to a sustainable path so as to contribute, through cuisine and hospitality, to building a more humane and united world, in harmony with living things. It is an honor for me to welcome these 11 new members to Relais & Châteaux, properties that share not only our values, but our passion for goodness and beauty,” said the association’s President, Laurent Gardinier.

Exclusively admitting boutique establishments with a deep sense of place and a genuine dedication to service, Relais & Châteaux celebrates “l’art de vivre”—the art of living well—with two timeless traditions, cuisine and hospitality. Established in 1954, Relais & Châteaux unites an exceptional collection of 580 hotels and restaurants throughout the world, operated by independent owners.

“Similar to our fellow Relais & Châteaux members, The Cove Eleuthera is deeply committed to sharing its local culture—through food, community and immersive experiences that connect you to the place,” commented Alex Kim, CEO of Tanzerra Resorts.

The Cove joins two other Tanzerra Resorts that are also members—Twin Farms in Vermont and Mii amo in Sedona.
